 Modeled after the successful Collectors' Circle, but for the new-to-collecting set, the Art Nouveaux are Museum Members interested in learning more about collecting art, art connoisseurship, meeting fellow art enthusiasts and more.
The group also supports the development and stewardship of the Asheville Art Museum’s permanent collection through annual purchase of a work of art for the Museum. Through the generosity of Ray Griffin, the Museum also acquired Pinky Bass’s Barbed Wire I in honor of the Art Nouveaux and Thom Robinson. On April 7, the group explored print collecting through examples from the Museum’s collection and discussion with passionate print collectors.
