The Museum Shop is happy to feature jewelry designer Gayle Ray as the October Artist-of-the-Month. Gayle’s jewelry is created with an eye to unique color and texture combinations. Semi precious stones, sterling silver, soft flex wire and blessings are combined to create unique pieces with the intention of bringing peace and harmony to those that experience it.

pianoforte_09The Asheville Art Museum invites you to experience our Pianoforte Series.

Join us in the galleries for an intimate afternoon of music performed by a variety of esteemed pianists.

The musical selection of each concert complements the art on exhibition to give each listener a wonderful, sensory experience.

The Pianoforte Series takes place three times throughout the year in the Museum galleries, with a special annual concert by John Cobb at the Diana Wortham Theater. Each concert in the series is sponsored by Harry Rowney.

Admission is $6.00 Museum Members and $8.00 + Museum Admission for non-Members.

In honor of the bicentennial of the birth of Hungarian composer Franz Liszt, pianist John Cobb will perform examples from all of Liszt's various compositional styles and periods, which are many and diverse. We hope you can join us for this exciting, celebratory concert!
