The Asheville Art Museum invites students and teachers to investigate the important role that art plays in life and learning through its Student and Teacher programs. Group Tours

Literacy Through Art
A school outreach program for Western North Carolina counties in which the visual arts are utilized to explore the language arts.
More Than Math
A program that integrates the visual arts into the 3rd- 8th grade mathematics curriculum using works of art from the collection of the Asheville Art Museum.
Scholastic Art Awards
Annual 7th-12th grade art competition sponsored by the Asheville Art Museum and the Asheville Area Section of the American Institute of Architects.
Teacher Resource Center
A resource center for teachers with a wide range of materials about art, art history and art techniques.
