The Asheville Art Museum provides programs throughout the year for parents and children. Parents - get on our mailing list and be the first to find out about the Museum's upcoming programs! Call the Education Department at (828) 253-3227 ext. 121 or 122.   

Seasonal family days are offered 2 to 3 times a year in conjunction with the Museum's exhibitions. Parents and children of all ages are invited to tour the current exhibition, try a hands-on studio project, and enjoy refreshments.

Homeschool
A monthly program developed especially for home school parents and children. Each 90-minute home school session includes a guided tour of the Museum's permanent collection or a special exhibition, plus a hands-on activity in the Museum's studio.
 
Students in first through fourth grades can spend their winter break exploring and creating mixed media forms of art including printmaking, drawing, painting and sculpture at the Museum December 26th - December 28. 
 
Summer Art Camp
Campers spend their summer days in the Art Museum's studio with talented art instructors exploring and creating art of various media.. Pre-registration is required. You may sign up for All-Day sessions or choose from a variety of Half-Day sessions.
