FEBRUARY 12:

The Journey is the Destination: The Journals of Dan Eldon by Dan Eldon

Photojournalist Dan Eldon was killed in 1993 (at the age of 23) in Mogadishu, where he had been dispatched to cover the UN bombing. Eldon left behind 17 journals filled with drawings, writings and photographs that constructed vivid collages of the world he saw, more than 200 pages of which are contained in this book. His journals are a celebration of adventure and a testament to live life to its fullest.
