Fridays at the Farm
Lamenting his family’s loss of connection with the natural world, filmmaker Richard Power Hoffmann joined a local organic farm and documented his experiences with the community-supported organization as he himself transformed from consumer to grower. The fascinating result uses nearly 20,000 still images to create time-lapse and macro photography sequences that reveal Hoffmann’s personal journey in a powerful, one-of-a-kind visual experience. Rated: G. 65 minutes.
Screened in conjunction with Heritage and Home: Photographs of Hickory Nut Gap Farm.
