Séraphine
JANUARY 25 + 26

Séraphine is the true story of Seraphine Louis aka Séraphine de Senlis (Yolande Moreau), a simple and profoundly devout housekeeper who in 1905 at age
41 began painting brilliantly colorful canvases. German art critic Wilhelm Unde (Ulrich Tukur) takes the promising painter under his wing. Though her neighbors and others dismiss Séraphine’s work, Unde is determined to turn the obscure French artist into a star.

Rated: NR. 125 minutes.
