Pop artists such as Andy Warhol and James Rosenquist combined popular imagery and a variety of artistic media to create iconic artworks that both challenged and celebrated American culture. In this afternoon workshop, students are introduced to Pop Art and experiment with painting and photo emulsion screenprinting. Students superimpose their own silkscreen stencil onto an acrylic painting to create a mixed-media Pop masterpiece.
