Charles J. Hasz (02/26/1895-08/11/1984) attended the Cincinnati Art School and studied under Frank Duveneck. He was the founder and first president of the Buckeye Art Association of Youngstown, Ohio, around 1924. He was also a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In about 1940 he moved to Hollywood, Florida, and became the founder and first president of the Hollywood Art League. His work has been shown in several group and solo exhibitions. He died August 11, 1984.
