Jeanet S. Dreskin (09/29/1921- ) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is known for combining medical illustration and ecology in her artwork. She has often used paint, pencil, and pen on her canvases. Her work has been exhibited in a numerous amount of solo and group showings, both in the United States and abroad. As of 1994, Dreskin continued to exhibit actively. In January of 1995, Dreskin participated in the "Contemporary Artists of South Carolina from the Collection of the Greenville (SC) Museum of Art." Representations of Dreskin's art exist in a vast number of permanent collections such as the Smithsonian Institutes' National Museum of American Art, South Carolina's Gibbes Gallery and Columbia Museum of Art, and the Guild Hall Museum in New York, and the Asheville Art Museum of North Carolina.
