Elizabeth P. McAfee

Elizabeth McAfee (12/04/1946- ) was born in Massachusetts. She took private art lessons while attending high school in Anderson, South Carolina, from Blanche Holcombe, the head of the Anderson College Art Department. McAfee earned a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (1969), and an M.A. in Literature from Brown University. The artist moved to Asheville in 1972. Her work has been shown at the Asheville Art Museum and the New Morning Gallery.
