T.S. Sullivan (1950 - ) was born in Asheville, North Carolina. He is both a graphic and collage artist. In 1987, he took part in the North Carolina Artists Exhibition at the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh. In 1992, he was awarded the Visual Arts Fellowship by the Southern Arts Fellowship Program. Sullivan's collages are surprising in their mixture of themes, often incorporating a host of images depicting feelings and events occurring in an industrial society. In general, his work is confident in tone and expresses an undying optimism for scientific and cultural progress. In 1986, he received a Visual Artists Fellowship from the NC Arts Council and was included in the NC Artists Exhibition at the NC Museum of Art in 1987.
