Susan Stevens Granados (09/11/1957- ) formerly lived in Asheville, North Carolina. She began her education in the field of geosciences and the environtment. In her late twenties, she took her first art classes at The University of North Carolina in Asheville where she studied photography, watercolor, and design. Granados also studied photography at Mc Dowell Technical Community College. She began using black and white photography as a means of extending her drawings. Recently she has begun to use a technique of polaroid transfers which she combines with pencil and pastel drawings.
