Nancy Ferguson is a dedicated Asheville Art Museum Docent and seamstress extraordinaire. Last month eARTh Bags debuted in the Museum Shop. Nancy created these one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly bags from past exhibition banners used by the Museum.

As a docent, Nancy gives tours, attends training sessions and participates in other activities with this important group. Nancy also coordinates the Asheville Art Museum Docent Newsletter The Spotlight.

On being a docent, Nancy said, "What I like most about being a docent is the continuous enrichment of the mind that you can then share with others."

The Asheville Art Museum thanks Nancy for all of her dedication and service to the Museum.
