Group Tours

Asheville Art Museum Student Group Tours are designed for grades K-12 to reinforce North Carolina Standard Course of Study curriculum objectives in Visual Arts, Social Studies, Math and Language Arts. Each tour uses observations, interactive inquiries and critical thinking exercises as tools to experience the visual arts. Studio activities reinforce tour concepts through creative and engaging hands-on art projects. You may select from the following tours:

The Museum Education staff is happy to work with teachers to design tours and studio activities to connect to curriculum and meet specific needs. Guided tours of the Museum's exhibitions and optional participation in studio activities are provided Tuesday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. A guided tour will last 1 hour, or 1 ½ hours if participating in a studio activity.

To schedule a tour contact the Education Department at 828.253.3227 ext 121 or 122.
