Museum donates art books to prison education program

ASHEVILLE, NC — The Asheville Art Museum recently donated art textbooks and reference materials duplicated in its Achilles Art Library holdings to be used as part of UNC-Asheville’s Distance Education Program at the Avery-Mitchell Correctional Facility in Spruce Pine, NC.

Summer Art Camp enrollment

ASHEVILLE — Arts education does not have to go on summer hiatus. The Asheville Art Museum is offering Summer Art Camps to rising kindergarten through 12th grade students June 9 — August 1, 2008.

Enrollment is limited and pre-registration is required.

smArt Speak Series Announced

Registration underway for high school after school arts programs
