The Museum is Popping Up All Around WNC

While the Asheville Art Museum’s 2 S. Pack Square location is under construction for a major renovation and expansion project, we are continuing an active schedule of exhibitions and programming out in WNC with community partners.

Pop-Up Exhibitions

We are organizing a series of “pop-up” exhibitions at our temporary “Museum On the Slope” at 175 Biltmore Avenue, as well as at several partner locations. We are grateful to the partners who are helping us continue to put works from our Collection on view while we are under construction.

Pop-Up Programming

Adults

We are hosting many programs and events for adults On the Slope and out in the community. From workshops and book discussions to Pianoforte recitals and Art Breaks, we’re busier than ever. Learn more about our Adult Programs.

Families

We’re excited to hold our annual Summer Art Camp in our pop-up Studio On the Slope this year. We are accepting registrations online and over the phone at 828.253.3227, ext. 124.

We also have a busy schedule of art programs for kids out in the community. From Tot Time: Mixed Up + Messy to Preschool Storytime to After School Art Adventures, we have programs of all kinds to engage kids’ imaginations through creative play. Learn more about our programs for families + kids.
