Andrew Turner Krous
Andrew T. Krouse was born in Buffalo, NY. He received a BA from SUNY Oswego, where he was studio assistant to Richard Zakin. He received an MFA in ceramics from the School for American Craftsmen at MIT in 1970. There he studied under Hobart Coles and Franz Wildenheim. Krouse was a ceramics instructor in Kalamazoo from 1971 until 1981. He was CEO of Boston Vallery Pottery, Inc. (dba Boston Valley Terra Cotta) from 1981 until 1991. He was a partner in LDDK Studios from 1991 until 2006. Since 2004 he has been president of Star Kilns, Inc.
