Connie Bostic (1936- ) received her formal art education was gained at Gardner Webb Junior College, UNC of Charlotte and Western North Carolina University.Her work is predominantly in mixed media, Bostic's work was included in the October Show at the Asheville Art Museum in 1987. She has collaborated with Charles Clemmons in dual artistic endeavors that have lead to success and acclaim. In particular the 23 panel procession entitled "Recognition of Death", composed of mixed media, possessed wide popularity. The combination of their efforts can be described as expressive, vibrant, symbolic and dynamic.
