Week 3 | June 26 – 30 | Grades 6 – 8 | Afternoon

Students explore traditional and non-traditional drawing and painting media to create original works of art. This fun-filled, fast-paced week of opportunities combines great ideas with some new techniques to make art.

Summer Art Camp

Join the Museum for Summer Art Camp in our bright and spacious studio! Camp is offered to rising kindergarten through 12th-grade students. All classes are age-appropriate. Sessions include drawing, painting, mixed-media, and more. Enrollment is limited, and registration is required. Students can register for morning only, afternoon only, or all-day sessions. The Museum is committed to making our programs accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means. With support from the Walnut Cove Members Association, we are able to provide a limited amount of financial aid to help students who could not otherwise afford to enroll in our programs.
