Week 6 | July 30 – August 3 | Grades 9 – 12 | Morning

Using line as a principle means of visual expression, students explore contour, gesture, and movement drawing using a variety of media such as pencil, marker, charcoal, and drawing pens.

Summer Art Camp

Join the Museum for Summer Art Camp in our bright and spacious studio! Camp is offered to rising kindergarten through 12th-grade students. All classes are age-appropriate. Sessions include drawing, painting, mixed-media, and more. Enrollment is limited, and registration is required. Students can register for morning only, afternoon only, or all-day sessions. All-day camp includes a 1-hour supervised lunch break. Camp registration opens March 1, 2022. To be added to our Family Programs mailing list, click here. The Museum is committed to making our programs accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means. With support from the Walnut Cove Members Association, we are able to provide a limited amount of financial aid to help students who could not otherwise afford to enroll in our programs.
