Experimenting with Mixed Media: Students explore the limitless possibilities of visual art media such as pastel, ink, and a range of painting materials to experiment with surface techniques. Students have the opportunity to combine techniques to create one-of-a kind artworks.

Summer Art Camp
Join the Museum for Summer Art Camp in our bright and spacious studio! Camp is offered to rising kindergarten through 12th-grade students. All classes are age-appropriate. Sessions include drawing, painting, mixed-media, and more. Enrollment is limited, and pre-registration is required. The Museum is committed to making our programs accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means. With support from the Walnut Cove Members Association, we are able to provide a limited amount of financial aid to help students who could not otherwise afford to enroll in our programs.
