Morning (9am–noon) or Afternoon (1–4pm) ½ day session, either morning or afternoon: $130. All Day (9am–4pm both Morning and Afternoon sessions): $250. Members receive a 10% discount.

Students will explore traditional, and non-traditional drawing, painting and mixed-media processes to learn how to create one-of-a-kind torn paper portraits.

Summer Art Camp 2025

Registration will open March 3, 2025 at 9:30am

Join us at the Museum for Summer Art Camp! Offered to rising K–12th grade students. All classes are age appropriate. Enrollment is limited, and registration is required. Registration includes Museum admission for campers and all materials necessary for each class. Classes are offered weekly June 16–August 11, 2025. Morning (9am–noon) and Afternoon (1–4pm) sessions are offered each week of camp. Students may sign up for both morning and afternoon and stay for both sessions.

  • Week 5: July 21–25 (Rising K–2nd grade)
    • Morning: Playful Printmaking
    • Afternoon: Color Week
  • Week 6: August 4–8 (Rising 6th–8th grade)

    • Afternoon: Natural Dyes

Cost:

Financial Aid applications for Summer Art Camp 2025 scholarships are closed.


Please Note: 

  • Enrollment is not confirmed until class registration and payment are received. Places are reserved on a first-paid, first-admitted policy.
  • The Asheville Art Museum reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient registration. In such cases, all registrants will be contacted and promptly issued a full refund.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to you within two weeks of receipt of your registration form and payment.
  • Refund Policy: It is the Museum's policy to refund class registration fees up until two weeks prior to a child's entry into the class, minus a $15 processing fee. The processing fee deduction increases to $30 for cancellations made within two weeks of the start date. No refunds are made after sessions begin.
