The Asheville Art Museum is pleased to be a part of the Downtown Asheville Art District’s First Friday Art Walks occurring the first Friday of every month April through December. On these evenings from 5:00–8:00 p.m., the Museum offers light refreshments and drinks, and the opportunity to view the current exhibition during extended hours.
Join us to kick off the 2017 Downtown Asheville Art District’s First Friday Art Walk! We are hosting a reception for our new exhibition Pop ‘n’ Op. While the Museum is under construction, we are installing “pop-up” exhibitions around town. Popping up at our temporary gallery On the Slope is this engaging exhibition featuring Pop and Op art from the 1960s and 1970s.
