Join us for a day trip to Knoxville, TN to enjoy all things Impressionism, contemporary glass, and good company! Discover the Knoxville Museum of Art’s exhibition American Impressionism: The Lure of the Artists’ Colony, featuring the work of luminaries such as Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, and William Merritt Chase. Explore the museum’s collection, including the monumental glass-and-steel installation Cycle of Life: Within the Power of Dreams and the Wonder of Infinity by acclaimed Knoxville artist Richard Jolley. Over lunch, enjoy the Dine & Discover program “The Lure of Impressionism: French Origins and Influence on American Artists” with Dr. Tim Hiles, Assistant Director and Professor, UT Knoxville School of Art. Finally, venture to Jolley and partner Tommie Rush‘s studio for an exclusive look at their creative life, work, and process.
