I Spy Art!

March 20, 2020

Take a look at Kate Clayton “Granny” Donaldson’s work (to the left) from our Collection with your child, answer the questions below, and then send them on a “I Spy” scavenger hunt!

Questions for engagement:

  • What’s going on in this artwork?
  • What do you see that makes you say that?
  • What more can you find?
  • How many different animals do you spy?
  • How many turkeys?
  • How many camels?
  • Which animal do you see the most of?

Activity:

Time to play “I Spy” at home! See how many animals you can spy around your house. These could be pets, animals in photos or artworks, or even animals on fabric like clothes or bedding.
