@ab.brazier Preparing to send this and a few other paintings to Asheville, NC, for the Appalachia Now exhibit at the @ashevilleartmuseum later this summer. (Judah is making sure it’s dry.) See you soon, Asheville!@ab.brazier Preparing to send this and a few other paintings to Asheville, NC, for the Appalachia Now exhibit at the @ashevilleartmuseum later this summer. • @citizentimes Shannon Sberna, an art handler and member of the installation team at the Asheville Art Museum, pushes individual pins into the wall as she works to install artist Maya Lin's Pin River-French Broad in the atrium of the new museum on July 17, 2019. The series of thousands of pins follows the map of the French Broad River from end to end. The piece will be completed at a member's event at the museum on July 26. Staff at the Asheville Art Museum are hoping to announce a day for the reopening soon. (? by staff photographer @angeliwright ).
  • @joshcopuspottery Brick team. Huge thanks to Taylor Clay, Johnny McNealy, Steve Blankenbeker, and @nicklistoceramics We produced new Community bricks for the upcoming Appalachia Now exhibition at the @ashevilleartmuseum
  • @dianestravelheart Love photographing the new addition to the Asheville Art Museum. The window reflections & building colors continually changes as the sky darkens! ??Patiently waiting to see more inside when the Asheville Art Museum opens later this summer??
  • @dianestravelheart Decided to create my own “artwork” by looking in window from the outside at @ashevilleartmuseum which opens later this summer! The metal sculpture is by contemporary sculptor Kenneth Snelson. Who knew reflections could be so interesting?! ??Waiting patiently to see the real thing!??
