What is your favorite part of your job?
I’m originally from New York City, so it’s wonderful being part of such a tight-knit community in Asheville. It’s been great getting to know our Members and community partners on a personal level.
What’s your favorite work in the Collection and why?
Lonnie Holley’s Teaching My Child How to See Grandmother’s Mask. You can read about why this is my favorite on the Museum’s blog.
What’s your favorite menu item from our Rooftop Café?
It’s not a standard menu item, but I love when the café offers “make your own pizza” nights!
What do you like to do when you’re not at the Museum?
I enjoy reading, hiking, and making my way to the beach when possible. I also recently started taking wheel-throwing lessons at The Village Potters and am completely in love with it (and missing it during this time of self-isolation).
