David Goldhagen’s studio is in WNC in Hayesville. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University, and studied glass at Penland School, Pilchuck School, and The Studio at Corning Museum of Glass, learning from Richard Ritter, Paul Stankard, Gary Beecham, and Dale Chihuly. He is a member of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild. Using traditional glassblowing methods, he layers colors and forms, often including metals in the design – sometimes abstract and sometimes figurative, like in this dreidel.
