Adult Studio: Making Mosaics
TWO-DAY WORKSHOP (SEPTEMBER 7 AND 14)
Join us to explore the art of mosaics with instructor Linda Guarin. In this two-day workshop you will learn various techniques for cutting, shaping and arranging mosaics to achieve different techniques. The workshop includes a guided tour of the Museum’s exhibition Western North Carolina Glass: Selections from the Collection for an opportunity to discuss creative concepts and find inspiration from the works on view in the galleries.

Adult Studio
Local and visiting artists help students of all levels and abilities develop skills in media that reflect techniques and themes featured in the Museum’s Collection and special exhibitions. Classes are designed for anyone interested in exploring specific media in depth or introduce new media and processes.
Refund policy for Adult Studio: Unless otherwise noted, refunds for ticketed/paid adult programs will be made if a request is submitted in writing at least two weeks before the scheduled program.
