Annual Benefit Events
As a nonprofit organization, the Museum relies on the generous support of our community members. Without you, we couldn’t do what we do—offer exciting exhibitions and engaging programs throughout the year.
The Museum hosts a number of popular benefit events each year including an annual gala, our popular Urban Loft & Art Tour, and our newest fundraiser, ART Party.
GALA & LIVE AUCTION
The Museum’s gala is our biggest event of the year. Featuring a cocktail reception, sit-down dinner, and live auction, this event brings together some of the Museum’s most dedicated supporters and celebrates all the Museum has to offer—from world-class exhibitions to engaging programs for children, teens, and adults.
URBAN LOFT & ART TOUR
This highly anticipated event provides our Members and supporters the opportunity to visit some of Asheville’s most stunning lofts and to view private art collections. Volunteer tour guides lead guests on a walking tour of Asheville, discussing places of historical significance and stopping in private residences along the way. The tour ends with a reception where guests have the chance to mingle with some of the loft owners while enjoying a drink and hors d’oeuvres.
This dynamic new "fun" raising, fundraiser event features live music, dancing, art installations, and performance art. Guests will also enjoy light food and drink, a silent auction, and raffle.
