About the Speaker
McCue is an independent scholar, speaker and collector with 50 years’ experience in American arts. He has worked with Asheville Art Museum and other organizations to interpret and publish studies, grounded in historical accuracy, for laymen. Mike has served as Trustee for North Carolina Humanities Council, on grants panels for National Endowment for the Arts, and on the board of American Historical Print Collectors Society where he chaired the jury for its annual Newman book award.
