Join us for live music in the Museum’s galleries throughout the month of December. Monique Pinelli, on violin, will be playing holiday and classical music in the exhibitions Beyond the Lens, level 1, and Intersections in American Art, level 3.
Monique Pinelli earned her Bachelor of Music from University of Iowa School of Music and her Master of Music from University of North Carolina Greensboro. She has performed with the Tri-Cities, Greensboro, Salt Lake, Hendersonville and Asheville Symphonies, Brevard Philharmonic, and Asheville Lyric Opera. Pinelli is one of the founding members of Café String Quartet, and since 2006, continues to play for weddings, events and programs within the Western North Carolina region. In 2018, Monique toured the eastern part of China and Inner Mongolia with the South Shore Orchestra. In addition, Monique has also enjoyed teaching from her Suzuki Method of Talent Education Studio in West Asheville for the past 20 years.
