The Frances Mulhall Achilles Art Library at the Museum houses more than 10,000 books and other archival material relevant to the Museum’s Collection of 20th- and 21st-century American art.

Located in the historic North Wing of the Museum, the Art Library is one of the largest resources of art publications in the region. An extensive collection of pamphlets published by galleries and museums—numbering more than 2,300—is one of the Art Library’s especially valuable resources. The Art Library’s collections are non-circulating and now accessible to Museum Members.
