Famous Artist Exploration: PM session, 1–4pm
From Michaelangelo to Monet, Klimt to Warhol, we will explore the styles and famous works of several famous artists. You’ll have a chance to create flowers like O’Keeffe, pop-art figures like Haring and much more!
Meet the Instructor: M Rathsack
Nora Mosrie is an interdisciplinary artist and educator with many years of professional experience in both the visual and performing arts. Her artwork includes acrylic paintings, drawings, sculpture and fiber art. Nora is dedicated to sharing her enthusiasm for the arts with intergenerational audiences through a variety of community venues such as special events, art exhibitions, music, theatre and educational programs. Nora studied art at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and obtained a BA in Art Education and an MA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting, drawing and design.

Summer Art Camp 2024
Join us at the Museum for Summer Art Camp! Offered to rising K–12th grade students. All classes are age appropriate. Enrollment is limited, and registration is required. Registration includes Museum admission for campers and all materials necessary for each class.
Classes are offered weekly June 17–August 12, 2024. Morning (9am–noon) and Afternoon (1–4pm) sessions are offered each week of camp. Students may sign up for both morning and afternoon and stay for both sessions.

Week 1: June 17–21 (Rising K–2nd grade)
Week 2: June 24–28 (Rising 3rd–5th grade)
Week 3: July 8–12 (Rising 9th–12th grade)
Week 4: July 15–19 (Rising K–2nd grade)
Week 5: July 22–26 (Rising 6th–8th grade)
Week 6: August 5–9 (Rising K–2nd grade)
Week 7: August 12–16 (Rising 3rd–5th grade)
Cost:
Morning (9am–noon) or Afternoon (1–4pm) half-day session: $150 per week;
All Day (9am–4pm, both Morning and Afternoon sessions): $300 per week;
Members receive a 10% discount.
Financial Aid:
**2024 Financial Aid applications for Summer Art Camp are closed**
The Museum is committed to making our programs accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means. With support from the Walnut Cove Members Association, we are able to provide a limited amount of financial aid to help students who could not otherwise afford to enroll in our programs.
Please Note:
- Enrollment is not confirmed until class registration and payment are received. Places are reserved on a first-paid, first-admitted policy.
- The Asheville Art Museum reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient registration. In such cases, all registrants will be contacted and promptly issued a full refund.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you within two weeks of receipt of your registration form and payment.
- Refund Policy: It is the Museum's policy to refund class registration fees up until two weeks prior to a child's entry into the class, minus a $15 processing fee. The processing fee deduction increases to $30 for cancellations made within two weeks of the start date. No refunds are made after sessions begin.
