Reginald Pollack (07/29/1924-12/06/2001) started his art career in high school with his teacher Moses Sawyer. After serving in World War II he studied art and painting for ten years in France. From 1955 to 1965 he worked in New York City and then moved to Los Angeles. He is best known for his loosely impressionistic portraits, still lifes and landscapes. He has also made sculpture and lithographs.
