Grains of Breath, Out of Sand
AUGUST 3 — Friday, 6:30pm

Choreographer Kathleen Meyers Leiner and local professional dancers debut a new work in response to our current exhibitions Red Hot in the Blue Ridge and Making it New. The multimedia movement piece – featuring music by cellist Emmallee Hunnicutt, and traveling inside and outside of the Museum On the Slope – explores the concepts of transformation inspired by the blowing of glass and the building of something new.
