Megan and Kyle touring the Museum with family and Shea Brown.meganelizabethbell So excited to share we are hosting our wedding at our family church at Central Methodist with a reception to follow in the downtown newly remodeled @ashevilleartmuseum! ✨Today, I’m with @shaybrownevents, my family, and my girls, getting a sneak peek of the Museum (opening later this summer). Can’t wait for the opening… and of course, our wedding! It’s going to be so gorgeous in this incredible space!

  • meganelizabethbell My whole heart asked me to spend the rest of my life with him yesterday. February 16, 2019 was the happiest day! Kyle, you are the perfect, god fearing man for me and I feel like the luckiest girl! We’re engaged! ?✨???? #bestdayever #engaged #asheville #loveofmylife #justsaidyes

Wedding Bells at the Museum for The Bachelor’s Megan Bell

July 31, 2019

We are super excited to share that Megan Bell (of TV’s The Bachelor fame) has chosen to have her wedding reception at the Asheville Art Museum! After fiancé Kyle Davis proposed in February, Megan made no secret of her plans to wed in this area, posing with a copy of the Asheville Wedding Guide on Instagram.

Family ties

While many choose Asheville as a wedding destination purely for its beauty and character, Megan shares a deeper connection. She shared in a March 17 Instagram post: “I’m in Asheville meeting my dream wedding planner, @shaybrownevents to start the planning!! I am ecstatic and I can’t wait to share all the wedding details. One detail I will share is that it will be in Asheville, N.C. where both of my parents are from.”

Her father, David Bell, who sadly passed away, graduated from the University of North Carolina Asheville (UNCA). It was during his time as a student at UNCA that he met Megan’s mother, Sheena.

When touring the Museum, Megan shared that her dad was an artist, so having her reception here felt extra meaningful.  Megan’s wedding planner, Shay Brown of Shay Brown Events, says this wedding holds added significance not just for the bride, but for her as well. “I’m so excited to be working with Megan on the details of her wedding, having done her aunt’s wedding in the past,” says Shay. “Planning her special day is made extra special since her family means so much to me.”

Per family tradition, the May reception will boast a Derby theme complete with big hats and all. More to come! Follow Megan’s wedding planning through her Instagram and bridal vlog at @meganelizabethbell.
