Virtual Visits for Adults
Groups of adults are invited to schedule an interactive Virtual Visit to the Museum! Led by volunteer educators with Museum staff, our inquiry-based, conversational Virtual Visits introduce the Museum’s galleries and challenge visitors to hone their observation skills.
Virtual Visits are $50 for 5–25 adults participating from one or multiple devices. Each device needs to be signed into a free Zoom account to participate in a Virtual Visit.
Virtual Visits are available Monday–Saturday, from 10am–4pm and last 45–50 minutes. At least two weeks’ advanced notice is required.
On the request form, groups can choose a Virtual Visit to our Collection, Intersections in American Art; one of our special exhibitions; or Discovering Art in Asheville, a journey through the Museum that considers how artists use the elements of art and principles of design in their work. Groups including adults with memory loss should select Connections for a thematic Virtual Visit facilitated by specially trained volunteer educators with Museum staff.
